Using songs in English class

Let’s sing and learn our 5 senses!

Hello there!

I think that when we do our English lesson, singing song about the vocabulary is really helpful for the kids because they have lots of fun while they are learning.

Here you have two examples of song that you can sing in the class to help them with the 5 senses concepts.

This first video is really easy to follow and they just love it!

And this one is more difficult but they learn the chorus easily.

I hope you enjoyed them!!

P.S.:Youtube is a place where you can find an unlimited amount of resources, but, as always, you have to be prepared for your class and not choose them in a random way.

Improve our students skills.

Hello there!

I have been using for a while an ICT tool that is called Issuu that it’s really good to publish your Power Point Presentations or pdfs in your blogs in an “elegant” way.

Here you have the example of a Science summary I did for my students last year. I saved it as a pdf and uploaded it to the Issuu and it has turned into a nice book.

You can also use it to create your own books with the stories and vocabulary that you have been using in class and you can even start a story and make your students write the end of it.

Anyway, I think you can use it for a lot of purposes, that’s why I wanted to share it with you. The result depends on your imagination!

Primary Resources

Hello again!

Surfing the web I have found an interesting website with lots of resources not on for our English lessons but also to use the English language in other subjects such as Maths, Science, etc.

Here is the link to it:

It has been working since 1998 and it started only to share worksheets but suddenly, other teachers started uploading their resources and I think that it is interesting because it’s a place where teachers can find and also share their resources and documents.

Have a look! I promise it won’t let you down!
